Corona-virus is our future

1.  What did you learn about the disease itself after watching this TedTalk? What myths did this video bust for you?

I learned that there were two outbreaks of the coronavirus before Covid-19, one of them being in the Middle East. The biggest myth Alanna busted was the fact that the masks don't do much. They should only be worn if I have the virus, so I don't spread it.
2.  What are the suggestions that you will take into consideration?

Washing my hands but even more than that is washing my phone. I touch my phone often, and when I think about it I'm not the only one. I have no idea what type of germs could be on there. I'm going to take into consideration keeping my hands away from my face. I often have a problem with slouching my head on my hands. Which is a perfect bridge for germs to move onto my face from my hands, keeping my hands away from my face would mean that I am less likely to spread the virus into my body.

3.  Do you think it is possible for self-quarantine to actually happen? Why or why not?

Yes, if everyone acted with honesty. That means people who are sick stay home so they don't transfer it to others. As for people who aren't sick, they shouldn't go outside because if someone with corona still has not been diagnosed and is outside they are less likely to catch it.
